How I work

I work with clients either on a project basis or on a monthly retainer.  Every client has different needs and we mutually agree on the goals and the desired outcome.

A typical project assignment follows a standard approach.  We have an initial meeting or call where the prospective client briefs me on their business objectives and particular project or problem.  It is helpful for me to get perspective on the marketing issues and on past experience and results.  Then I develop a proposal that outlines all phases of the project, specific deliverables and expected timeframes.  My fees are based upon the amount of time and resources needed to deliver on the project.

In a typical retainer relationship we agree on a block of time I will allocate to the client during a month.  This might take the form of project work or I might be "on call" for any issues, comments, material development or review that come up each month.
